Conference on de-occupation of Crimea to be held in France in October – Ambassador Shamshur

In the second half of October, a conference on de-occupation of Crimea will be held in France.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France Oleh Shamshur said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"In the second half of October 2018, a conference will be held together with the think tank Europa Nova, within the framework of which the issues of illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol and their de-occupation will be discussed. French leading politicians, members of parliament, scientists, and representatives of business circles and media outlets will take part in the event," the diplomat said.

He notes that the issues of Crimea, its de-occupation and the situation of human rights on the peninsula are constantly in the center of attention of the Ukrainian Embassy in France, and many media and public events are devoted to this.

In addition, the Ukrainian diplomatic mission harshly reacts to cases of incorrect presentation of information about Crimea in France.
