Ukraine identifies 9,000 Crimean law enforcers who broke oath of office

The Investigative Department of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has established complete identity details of more than 9,000 law enforcement officers suspected of high treason.

"The Investigative Department of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea conducts pre-trial investigation into 123 criminal proceedings over high treason. During the pre-trial investigation, the staff size of 18 law enforcement agencies working on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol prior to the occupation of the peninsula was established. There were about 18,600 law enforcers," First Deputy Prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Mykola Ivanets said at the coordination meeting of the Crimean law enforcement agencies.

Ivanets noted that the Investigative Department of the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea established complete identity details of more than 9,000 people.
