Justice Ministry: No ‘referendums’ in occupied territories

No referendums can be held in the occupied territories, Justice Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko stated.

"As for all-Ukrainian referendum – this is our internal national issue. Only Ukrainian citizens can decide what referendum and on what issues to hold. No referendums can be held in the occupied territories," he said.

As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Russian diplomats that he had offered U.S. President Donald Trump to hold a referendum in order to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
