Trump to discuss Ukraine at meeting with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump will raise the issue of Ukraine during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The U.S. president said this at a press conference in Brussels on the results of the NATO Summit on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We will talk about Ukraine. Ukraine, by the way, is present here today [at the NATO Summit in Brussels]," the U.S. president said.

Answering the question about the occupation of Crimea by Russia, Trump once again stressed that this situation was allowed to happen by former U.S. president Barack Obama. "I would not have let that happen," Trump said.

As reported, Putin and Trump are scheduled to meet in Helsinki on July 16.
