Duda hopes for Ukraine's, Georgia's membership in NATO

Polish President Andrzej Duda has expressed hope that Ukraine and Georgia will become full members of NATO.

He stated this before the NATO summit in Brussels on Wednesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I count on this and believe that sooner or later Georgia and Ukraine will become part of the Euro-Atlantic community in the full sense of the word, not in the sense of friendship, but in the sense of membership in the alliance," Duda said.

It was earlier reported that a bilateral meeting between Ukrainian and Polish Presidents Petro Poroshenko and Andrzej Duda would be held as part of the summit.
