Presidents of Ukraine and Poland to hold talks in Brussels

The meeting between Presidents of Ukraine and Poland, Petro Poroshenko and Andrzej Duda, will be held during the NATO summit in Brussels.

Minister of the Polish President's Office Krzysztof Szczerski stated this, the press service of the President of the Republic of Poland reports.

"On the initiative of the Ukrainian side, President Duda will meet with President Poroshenko during the NATO summit," Szczerski said.

He added that the dialogue between the Ukrainian and Polish sides is "intense and permanent and does not require external impulses."

As reported, President Poroshenko honored the memory of Ukrainian victims of Sahryn in southeastern Poland on Sunday, and President Duda attended a mass commemorating the Polish victims of the conflict near Lutsk city in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side offered that the memorial events to commemorate World War II victims be held jointly, but the Polish side refused.
