Great Britain to continue to support Ukraine - Boris Johnson

UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson says that Britain will support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression and carrying out domestic reforms.

He stated this during the Second Ukraine Reform Conference in Copenhagen, on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Johnson said that UK will provide another humanitarian and technical assistance worth £35 million for Ukraine next year. In particular, it will pursue a variety of programs, including military training, mine clearance operations in eastern Ukraine, assistance for temporarily displaced persons, fight against disinformation campaign, and projects on increasing the role of women in society.

Johnson reminded that Ukraine currently is facing two great challenges: Russian aggression and building of a safe and prosperous society through the course of reforms.

He said it necessary to remind friends and allies of Ukraine about the threat it is facing, and to continue to provide support that will help Ukraine keep on the course of reforms.
