Klimkin pleased with consultations with Hungary regarding law on education

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin is generally pleased with the results of consultations with the Hungarian side regarding the implementation of the language article of the law on education.

He stated this at a press conference on the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian-Hungarian high-level working group with the participation of four ministers, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Generally speaking, I am pleased with today's consultations. I am very glad that today we met here. The first part of our meeting was devoted to the implementation of the law on education. After this press conference, together with Péter [Foreign Minister of Hungary Péter Szijjártó], we will discuss both bilateral issues and issues on our international agenda," Klimkin said.

According to him, today's consultations were important and constructive, and they were held after the Education Ministry met with the Hungarian community of Zakarpattia.

"We agreed to continue such consultations. The next consultations will be held in early July," the foreign minister said.
