Mingarelli hopes that EU will study Klimkin's proposal to impose sanctions for Kerch bridge construction

Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli hopes that the EU will consider a proposal of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin to include into the sanctions list those involved in mass violations of human rights in the occupied Crimea and those involved in the construction of the Kerch bridge.

He said this to journalists on Tuesday in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"This is a good proposal. I hope we will study this proposal," Mingarelli said.

As reported, Klimkin urged European politicians to impose sanctions against those responsible for mass violations of human rights in the occupied Crimea and for the construction of the Kerch Strait Bridge.
