Ukraine, EU discuss anti-corruption efforts on the eve of Ukraine-EU Summit

Ukraine and the European Union have discussed the state and prospects of fighting corruption in the state.

First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said this at the international conference “European Perspective for Ukraine“ in Brussels on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"A meeting of the government representatives on the anti-corruption issues was held in the framework of the preparation and holding of the 20th Ukraine-EU Summit," the first deputy prime minister said.

He notes that Ukraine has moved to the stage of modernization and innovative development, which takes place in partnership with the European Union.

Kubiv is convinced that cooperation with the EU, in spite of Russian aggression, ensured the economic development of the state.
