French ambassador to Ukraine visits Luhansk region

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont visited Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine on Sunday.

Deputy Chairman of Luhansk Regional State Administration Yuriy Klymenko informed this on his Facebook page.

"Today, together with Commander of the Joint Forces Serhiy Nayev, we met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont. During the meeting, we spoke about the progress of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) in Luhansk region, major challenges and threats on the way towards the establishment of peace in our region," Klimenko wrote on June 3.

According to him, the French ambassador was interested in the state of industry and agriculture in Luhansk region.

Klymenko expressed hope that this visit would contribute to the establishment of fruitful and effective relations with the French colleagues.
