MH17: Poroshenko hopes perpetrators will soon be brought to trial in the Netherlands

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects the prosecutor's office of the Netherlands to submit to the court the charges against the persons involved in MH17 crash in the near future.

"The concerted efforts of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, Australia, Belgium, Malaysia and the Netherlands and the assistance of partner services from several other countries allowed to establish the ‘residence’ of Buk missile: the 53rd Kursk Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. There is every reason to hope that the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Netherlands will submit to the court the charges against the persons involved in MH17 crash in the near future," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.

He also assured that Ukraine, in turn, would do everything possible to ensure that the actions of the Russian Federation as a state that supports terrorism were properly assessed by the International Court of Justice in the proceedings initiated at the beginning of last year.
