Poroshenko, Kiska discuss preparations for NATO summit

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has held a telephone conversation with his Slovak counterpart Andrej Kiska, the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state has reported. 

The sides discussed topical issues of the bilateral agenda.

"They appreciated the active dynamics of political contacts between Ukraine and Slovakia. The parties discussed preparations for the NATO summit to be held in Brussels in July," the statement reads.

Poroshenko and Kiska emphasized the importance of restoration of the work of the mixed intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation, which is scheduled to meet in June 2018.
