Klimkin in Denmark to participate in 128th session of Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will pay a visit to Denmark on May 17-18, where he will take part in the 128th session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe at the ministerial level.

This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.

"Klimkin will touch upon the issue of Russia's ongoing aggression against our state and the release of Ukrainians illegally detained by Russia," the report reads.

The Foreign Ministry informs that the discussion of the foreign ministers of 47 member countries of the Council of Europe will include the issue of responding to the current challenges of democratic security in Europe, in particular the role of the organization in resolving conflicts and crises on the continent.

During the meeting, the chairmanship at the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers will be transferred from the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Croatia for the next six-month period.

The program of Klimkin's visit to Denmark provides for a number of bilateral meetings.
