Groysman hopes law on Anti-Corruption Court will be passed in May

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said he hopes that the Verkhovna Rada will pass a bill on an Anti-Corruption Court as a whole in May.

He said this, while opening an event as part of the Open Government Week, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"I very much hope that in the next two plenary weeks the Ukrainian parliament will make the final decision on the creation of an Anti-Corruption Court," Groysman said.

According to him, this will not only help fight corruption more effectively, but also have a positive effect on economic growth.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a presidential bill on the High Anti-Corruption Court (No. 7440) at first reading on March 1.
