Poroshenko hopes for creation of Anti-Corruption Court in May

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects that an Anti-Corruption Court may appear in May, and this will open the way for another tranche of the IMF.

The president said this in an interview with the German magazine Focus, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We aim to speed up the process of establishing an independent Anti-Corruption Court. I am sure that we will do it in the first half of the year, perhaps in May. And then we will receive the next tranche," the head of state said.

Poroshenko is proud that for four years the economy has managed to achieve great success, in particular, to improve the investment climate. In the Doing Business ranking, the country rose from 135the position (in 2013) to 76th. The pace of economic development is likely to be 3.5% this year. "Show me a country that has managed to do this in the conditions of war," the president said.
