Poland, Lithuania remain reliable allies of Ukraine – Parubiy

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy states that Poland and Lithuania remain the most reliable partners of Ukraine.

He said this during his speech at the ceremonial meeting of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania in Vilnius on the occasion of the 227th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of May 3, 1791, the press service of the parliament reported.

"I am convinced that we will gain a victory in the struggle waged by Ukraine. The empire cannot be stronger than the people's striving for freedom and dignity. I am sure that Lithuania and Poland will always support us in this struggle. Together we are invincible. Together we are successful and free," the speaker stressed.

According to him, Lithuania and Poland remain the largest and most reliable allies, "because they understand that Ukrainian soldiers defend not only Ukraine but the whole of Europe."
