Assistant Secretary of State Wess Mitchell begins visit to Ukraine

Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs A. Wess Mitchell has started a three-day visit to Ukraine, during which he will hold meetings with state officials, political leaders and representatives of non-governmental sector.

This was reported by the Office of the Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State.

"Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs A. Wess Mitchell will travel to Kyiv, Ukraine, May 1-3. He will meet with senior government officials, other political leaders, and civil society representatives to underscore U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stress the importance for Ukraine of implementing economic and anti-corruption reforms," the report reads.
