Ukraine offers Czech Republic to intensify political dialogue at level of prime ministers

Ukraine has offered the Czech Republic to intensify a political dialogue at the level of prime ministers and resume an interparliamentary cooperation.

This issue was discussed during political consultations between Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar and Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jakub Dürr. The diplomats discussed a full range of the Ukrainian-Czech bilateral relations, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.

"The Czech side was propesed to intensify a political dialogue at the level of prime ministers, resume the interparliamentary cooperation and consider an invitation to Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Martin Stropnický to visit Kyiv and Donbas areas close to the line of demarcation," the report reads.

The Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to the Czech colleagues for supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine. At the same time, it drew attention to the fact of violation by some Czech MPs of Ukrainian legislation and UNGA Resolution 68/262 of March 27, 2014 regarding illegal visits to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
