No grounds to hold early elections in Ukraine - Groysman

There are currently no grounds for holding early elections in Ukraine, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.

He said this at a meeting with representatives of regional media outlets on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"There are currently no grounds for holding early elections. We can make many useful decisions for the country within one-and-a-half years [before the elections]. If our law on more severe punishment for the bribing of voters is passed, we will have a chance to get a new quality of elected representatives," Groysman said.
