The document also outlines the relevant practical measures within the framework of implementation of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration policy, reforming the country's security and defense sector in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the Alliance.

The ANP-2018 is to ensure the fulfillment of the priority tasks of Ukraine's cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and of the relevant decisions, taken at the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of the heads of state and government in Warsaw on July 9, 2016, as well as other important agreements with NATO.
