Ukraine plans a range of large-scale projects with France – Klimkin

Ukraine intends to launch a range of large-scale projects with France.

Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated this at a meeting with France's Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We are talking about very large-scale projects. Soon Jean-Yves will sign a protocol of intentions with Arsen Avakov regarding the purchase of French helicopters," Klimkin said.

In addition, there are other major projects, in particular in the energy sector. According to Klimkin, one of these projects will be the construction of large solar power plants.

According to Klimkin, there is "a real dynamic in bilateral economic interaction” between Ukraine and France. At the same time, he noted that these projects are not just a new stage of the bilateral economic cooperation between the countries, but a gradual transition of Ukraine to the EU and NATO standards in all spheres.
