Austrian president discusses investment proposals with Lviv city leaders

Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander van der Bellen has visited the city of Lviv in the framework of his official visit to Ukraine and discussed investment proposals with the city leadership.

This was reported by the press service of the Lviv City Council.

"I am happy to visit Lviv, the city with which Austria has a special connection. I wish that economic, cultural and, above all, human relations between Austria and Lviv continue to deepen in the future," the Austrian president wrote in the Book of Honored Guests of Lviv.

During the meeting with the leaders of the city and the region, the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Lviv region and the regions of the Alpine country and investment proposals. In particular, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy invited the Austrian president to take the LvivMozArt festival under his personal patronage, as a platform for the development of Ukrainian-Austrian relations, including economic, political and cultural relations.
