Vice PM Rozenko sees no reasons for deploying OSCE mission in Zakarpattia region

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko believes that there is no ground for deploying an OSCE monitoring mission in Zakarpattia region.

This was reported by the Novoye Vremya online portal.

"Ukraine as a democratic state is not afraid of any monitoring mission, but, frankly, I personally do not see any reason for deploying a special regime in Ukraine, in particular, in the language issue. I do not see any threats to the languages of national minorities either from the Ukrainian legislation or from the state or local authorities," Rosenko said.

According to him, all statements made by neighboring countries, in particular Hungary, related to their internal political struggle, as well as the hybrid war of Russia.

As reported, the OSCE press service informed that the OSCE SMM would continue to monitor the situation in Uzhhorod with the help of patrol officers from Ivano-Frankivsk.
