EU extends sanctions over actions against Ukraine's territorial integrity

The European Union has extended for further six months the restrictive measures against persons involved in actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

“The Council of the European Union prolonged the restrictive measures over actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for a further six months, until 15 September 2018. The measures consist of asset freezes and travel restrictions,” reads a statement posted on the EU institution’s official website.

The restrictive measures will continue to apply to 150 persons and 38 entities.
