Ukraine, UK to strengthen cooperation in fight against terrorism

Police officers of Ukraine and the United Kingdom will work closely in the fight against terrorism.

This agreement was reached during a meeting of Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Chairman of the Ukrainian National Police Serhiy Knyazev with Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Cressida Dick, the press service of the National Police reports.

"The sides exchanged experience in the work of crime prevention and frontline police. Separately, the leaders discussed the issue of countering terrorism in Ukraine and the United Kingdom. During the meeting, the parties agreed on close cooperation between the countries in the fight against terrorism," the report reads.

As reported, Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a memorandum on cooperation in the fight against cybercrime.
