Finance Ministry expects law on Anti-Corruption Court to be approved in April 2018

Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has said that the ministry expects the law on the creation of an Anti-Corruption Court will be approved as soon as in April 2018.

"I hope that the Verkhovna Rada will have enough courage to approve the law on an Anti-Corruption Court in its first reading. This will launch the process that I hope will be completed in April. At least I have such expectations. I expect that in April we will have the law on an Anti-Corruption Court, which will allow us to go to the next stage - the building of an independent Anti-Corruption Court,” said Danyliuk at the 14th annual investment conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the main requirement of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the allocation of the next tranche to Ukraine remains energy reform and the creation of an Anti-Corruption Court.
