Polish Foreign Ministry: No crisis in Polish-Ukrainian relations

Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Bartosz Cichocki notes that there is no crisis in Polish-Ukrainian relations.

The deputy chief of Polish diplomacy said this during the conference "Russian Aggression in Ukraine: Balance and Prospects", which takes place in Warsaw on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We often hear in the media about the crisis in Ukrainian-Polish relations, which does not exist," Cichocki said.

He noted that no one wanted to notice the positive aspects in the relations, for example, the Warsaw’s support for the restoration of normal life in Donbas. He drew attention to the fact that Poland has the largest, next to the United Kingdom, representation in the OSCE SMM to Donbas (more than 40 persons).

According to him, Warsaw also invests in the development of small business in eastern Ukraine, the restoration of the destroyed schools in Donbas, in particular in the town of Avdiivka.

Cichocki also reminded of the close military technical cooperation between Poland and Ukraine which can be called the "brotherhood in arms."
