Foreign Ministry recalls that Russia not fulfilled a single clause of Minsk agreements for three years}

On the third anniversary of the signing of the Minsk agreements, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recalls that Russia has not fulfilled a single clause of the agreements since the adoption of Minsk II in 2015.

Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa informed this on her Twitter page.

"On February 12, 2015, a set of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements (2014) was adopted. None of the clauses of the agreements has been fulfilled. The Russian Federation needs a war and destabilizing actions in Ukraine," Betsa wrote.

Three years ago the Minsk agreements were approved (Minsk II). On February 12, 2015, a set of measures aimed at the implementation of the September Minsk agreements (the Protocol of September 5, 2014 and the Minsk Memorandum of September 19, 2014) on the settlement of the crisis in Donbas was approved after long negotiations of the "Normandy Four" at the summit in Minsk.

The document was signed by Angela Merkel (Germany), Francois Hollande (France), Petro Poroshenko (Ukraine), and Vladimir Putin (Russia).
