Russia not to escape responsibility for crimes in Crimea – Poroshenko

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko states that Russia will not be able to escape responsibility for crimes in the occupied Crimea.

He wrote this on his Twitter page.

"The occupiers will not be able to avoid responsibility for their crimes and repression. Neither instigators, nor organizers, nor perpetrators will escape responsibility," Poroshenko stressed.

According to him, today's situation in Crimea is a pain of Ukrainian, Crimean-Tatar peoples and other nations that live on the peninsula.

"The international front for the de-occupation of Crimea is becoming stronger every day - the whole civilized world will never recognize its annexation," the President stressed.

As reported, the European Parliament will discuss possible assistance of the EU's legislative body in protecting human rights in Russian-occupied Crimea. The respective hearings will be held at the European Parliament's Subcommittee on Human Rights on January 24.
