Foreign Ministry strongly condemns trials in Crimea

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine strongly condemns trials in the occupied Crimea and connects a large number of court hearings over the Crimean Tatars with the UN vote.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Mariana Betsa wrote this on Twitter.

"We strongly condemn the "trials" in occupied Crimea. Purposeful actions of the Russian Federation on the eve of voting in the UN on resolution on human rights in Crimea," she wrote.

She recalled that on Monday, December 18, more than 70 "court hearings" over the Crimean Tatars had been held in Crimea.
