Russian court extends arrest of Pavlo Hryb until March 4

A court in the city of Krasnodar of the Russian Federation has extended arrest of Ukrainian citizen Pavlo Hryb until March 4, 2018.

Ihor Hryb, the father of Pavlo, informed this to Hromadske portal.

"The arrest has been extended to two months. They did not accept any arguments," he said.

Earlier, Olha Hryb, the sister of Pavlo Hryb, wrote an open letter to the Council of Europe. 

On December 13, Belarus temporarily stopped checking on the disappearance of the Ukrainian citizen in Gomel.

Pavlo Hryb disappeared in Belarus on August 24. Later it became known that he was kidnapped by Russian intelligence services and transferred to the Krasnodar detention facility (Russia).

The Russian court extended arrest of kidnapped Ukrainian citizen Pavlo Hryb until January 4, 2018.
