Poroshenko: UAH 4 bln already allocated for rural health care

President Petro Poroshenko says that UAH 4 billion has been already allocated to increase the quality of health care services in rural areas.

“We are implementing further reforms. I will sign the law on rural health care in the upcoming days. This is a special law, as it is a matter of life or death for millions of our compatriots who live in rural areas. The government, health ministry, regional and district state administrations, local communities will report on  how many ambulant clinics and rural health posts should be built, how many should be repaired - they include thousands of facilities across the country. UAH 6 billion is needed to start this process,” Poroshenko said during solemn events at the Prosecutor General's Office, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
