Ukraine, Moldova discuss cooperation on joint projects

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip held a meeting in Tbilisi in the scope of the international forum Tbilisi Belt&Road Forum. 

In particular, the parties stated about the progress in implementing the Roadmap for Cooperation, the government’s press service reports.

“The prime ministers discussed the results of work of the expert groups on the project of the Dniester Integrated Hydraulic Station and the development of documents on this energy complex, agreements on air traffic and international automobile traffic, which may be signed in the near future, as well as Dniester environmental projects,” reads a report.

The prime ministers also discussed the issue of demarcation of the entire state border. According to Volodymyr Groysman, there are no reasons “to procrastinate this process”.

"We have enhanced our cooperation in all directions, and we have already achieved some progress," he stated.

In turn, the prime minister of Moldova emphasized that he was pleased to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart and he praised the opportunity that allowed the parties to sum up the interim results of cooperation.
