PM Groysman calls on VR to approve bill on preventing excessive pressure on business

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has called on the Verkhovna Rada to approve a draft law on preventing excessive pressure being applied on business by law enforcement structures.

In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Yesterday, the relevant committee unanimously recommended that it [the bill] be adopted as a basis and as a whole. I thank the members of the committee and I call on all other MPs to demonstrate unity during the vote”.

Groysman also stressed that honest business should be protected from any willfulness and pressure from the side of law enforcement structures.

As earlier reported, bill No.7275 on preventing excessive pressure on business was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on November 10. The document was developed by the Justice Ministry, Interior Ministry, Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, Business Ombudsman Office and other departments.
