Consultative Committee of Presidents of Ukraine and Poland to meet in Krakow

An extraordinary meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland at the level of foreign policy advisers will be held in Krakow on November 17.

A co-chair of the committee from the Polish side, Krzysztof Szczerski, stated this on Monday, according to the website Dzieje.pl.

"A meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Poland and Ukraine will be held in Krakow on Friday... The subject of the meeting is bilateral issues, as well as preparations for the Eastern Partnership summit," Szczerski said.

He added that Kostiantyn Yeliseyev would head the Ukrainian delegation. The meeting will also be attended by representatives of the foreign ministries of the two countries and advisers to the presidents of Ukraine and Poland.

As reported, the meeting of the committee of the presidents of both countries will be held on the initiative of the Ukrainian side in the light of deteriorating bilateral relations in the historic sphere.
