Ukrainian, Maltese presidents meet in Kyiv

The official ceremony of a meeting between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca has started on the square in front of the building of the Presidential Administration, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The meeting started with the anthems of Malta and Ukraine, and the heads of the two states then inspected a guard of honor guard and presented their delegations.

Poroshenko and Coleiro Preca are expected to talk to the media at 12.40. 

On the same day, the presidents will take part in a Ukrainian-Maltese business forum.

The Maltese president pays a state visit to Ukraine at the invitation of President Poroshenko.
