Foreign Ministry calls arrest of Crimean Tatars in Bakhchysaray as another crime of occupation authorities

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine considers the arrest for two months of six Crimean Tatars detained in the city of Bakhchysaray as another crime of the occupation authorities in annexed Crimea.

Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa informed this on Twitter.

"Another criminal acts of the occupation regime. Targeted suppression of the Crimean Tatars. Freedom cannot be broken. We continue to fight," Betsa wrote.

As reported, on October 11, six people were illegally detained and at least nine activists were detained in annexed Crimea only for coming to support their compatriots and were near the places of searches.

The Kremlin-controlled court in Simferopol on October 12 impose a pre-trial restraint for detained residents of Bakhchysaray in the form of detention for a period of two months.
