Assistant UN Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs to visit Ukraine

Ursula Mueller, Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Deputy Emergency Relief Coordinator in the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), will pay a working visit to Ukraine on October 10-13.

During the three-day visit, the Assistant Secretary-General will hold meetings with senior government officials, representatives of the humanitarian and diplomatic community and families of the internally displaced persons from eastern Ukraine.

Mueller is also expected to visit eastern Ukraine to "see with her own eyes the humanitarian situation of people living in the territories affected by military hostilities."
