Government allocates UAH 100 mln to eliminate effects of explosions at ammunition depots in Vinnytsia region

The Government will allocate UAH 100 million from the reserve fund to eliminate the effects of explosions at the ammunition depots in the town of Kalynivka in Vinnytsia region.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this during a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As in Balakliia, we will allocate UAH 100 million from the reserve fund to eliminate the effects of this emergency situation, and then we will look at real needs of people in order to help everyone," Groysman said.

As reported, the first explosions were reported at 22:00 local time on Tuesday, September 26. According to preliminary information, one person was injured. The victim has been hospitalized in a condition of moderate severity in the Vinnytsia Central District Clinical Hospital.

The depots occupy 600 ha – 1,000 ha. It is the country's second largest stock of Ukraine's armed forces after Balakliia of Kharkiv region.
