Meeting between Ukrainian, U.S. presidents begins in New York

A meeting between Ukrainian and U.S. Presidents Petro Poroshenko and Donald Trump has begun in New York.

The head of the Ukrainian state wrote about this on Twitter.

"I'm glad to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump. We are discussing the strengthening of Ukrainian-American relations," he wrote.

As reported, Poroshenko is on a working visit to the United States. The head of state took part in the meetings of the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly.
