Trilateral Contact Group meets in Minsk

A meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the Donbas has begun in Minsk, according to Darka Olifer, spokesperson for Ukraine's representative in the group, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma.

"A meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group has begun in Minsk," she wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

The working subgroups of the Trilateral Contact Group held the talks behind closed doors earlier on Wednesday.

An advisor to the Ukrainian Security Service head, Yuriy Tandit, said on September 5 that the Trilateral Contact Group would discuss the details of a large-scale exchange of hostages.
