Lithuanian foreign minister urges Kyiv to keep reforms

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius congratulates Ukraine on the entry into force of the Association Agreement with the EU and urges to keep reforms' tempo high.

"The EU-Ukraine Association Agreement comes into force. Congrats w another fundamental step forward on European Path. Urge to keep reforms' tempo high," Linkevičius wrote on Twitter.

As reported, the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine, including the creation of a deep and comprehensive free trade area, came into force on September 1.

The agreement was signed in two stages in 2014, but the ratification process was completed only in June 2017.
