Foreign Ministry recommends Ukrainians traveling abroad to avoid places of mass gatherings due to high terror threats

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine recommends citizens planning to travel abroad or already traveling to avoid places of mass gatherings due to the high level of terror threats in the countries of Europe, Asia and Africa.

This is reported by the Department of Consular Service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine on Facebook.

"In connection with escalation of the security situation due to recent terrorist acts in the countries of Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as natural disasters (fires in Southern Europe, floods in Asia), we recommend Ukrainian citizens planning their trips abroad and those who are already outside of our state to observe the safety measures, avoid places of mass gatherings, strictly adhere to the rules for stay of foreigners in the countries of stay, comply with all legal requirements of representatives of state authorities and recommendations of rescue services and monitor the reports of law enforcement agencies," the report reads.

In case of emergency, threats to life and health, Ukrainian citizens are urged to inform local law enforcement authorities, rescue services, as well as call "hotline" of the embassy or consular office of a host country, or the round-the-clock "hotline" of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine by phone number +38-044-238-16-57 or e-mail: cons_or@mfa.gov.ua.
