Government dismisses Syvak as deputy health minister

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Oksana Syvak as Ukraine's deputy health minister for European integration.

A respective resolution has been posted on the government portal.

"To dismiss Oksana Vasylivna Syvak as Ukraine's deputy health minister for European integration on August 9, 2017 at her own request," the document says.

Syvak wrote on her Facebook page on August 9 that she had decided to leave office. She was responsible for the international area of the work of the Health Ministry and the issue of European integration, as well as the development of a public health system, in particular, the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, blood safety, and biosafety.
