PM Groysman: Ukraine should maintain its leading positions in aircraft and rocket building

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says Ukraine should maintain its world's leading positions in aircraft and rocket building.

The Ukrainian prime minister wrote this on his Facebook page, when commenting on the successful launch of Vega rocket that is equipped with a Ukrainian engine.

“Vega rocket, powered by a Ukrainian-made engine, successfully launched three satellites into orbit on August 1. Aircraft and rocket building are those sectors where we should maintain our leading positions in the world!” the prime minister stressed.

According to the press service of the French company Arianespace, the lightweight rocket Vega powered by a Ukrainian-made engine on August 1 brought into orbit three Earth observation satellites for Israel, Italy and France.
