PM Groysman: FTA to deepen cooperation between Ukraine and Canada

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says that the cooperation between Ukraine and Canada will become stronger.

In a post on his Facebook page, Groysman wrote that a Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada came into effect today, August 1. The prime minister also said that due to this, Ukrainian entrepreneurs will get new opportunities as the agreement opens duty-free access for Ukrainian exporters to 98% of commodity markets.

“I’m sure that cooperation between our countries will become stronger,” Groysman stressed.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Ukraine was signed on July 11, 2016 during a visit of Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Kyiv.
