Interior Minister Avakov appoints new police chief in Donetsk region

Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has appointed Vitaliy Nevhad as Chief of the National Police Main Department in Donetsk region.

“Colonel Vitaliy Nevhad, who had worked as deputy chief of the region's police, was appointed Chief of the National Police Main Department in Donetsk region,” Avakov wrote on Twitter.

Prior to this, the National Police Main Department in the region was headed by Viacheslav Abroskin.
