Zhebrivsky, Hug discuss wide range of security issues

Head of Donetsk Military and Civil Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky and Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug discuss a wide range of security issues regarding Donetsk region.

Zhebrivsky informed this on his Facebook page on Monday.

"Together with Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM to Ukraine Alexander Hug, we discussed a wide range of security issues," the head of the region wrote.

According to him, he told that in spite of the declared "harvest" ceasefire, the militants did not stop shelling the territory controlled by Ukraine from prohibited weapons.

"I drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian side is deprived of the opportunity to monitor and influence the ecological situation in the occupied territory, and therefore we can count only on the support of the international community in this issue," Zhebrivsky noted. He also thanked the OSCE mission for trying to help restore peace in Ukraine.
