President Poroshenko congratulates Angela Merkel on her birthday

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel on her birthday.

The greeting of the Ukrainian president has been posted on his Facebook page.

"I sincerely congratulate Angela Merkel on her birthday! Our true friend in the heart of Europe, a reliable ally in the Normandy format and a devoted supporter of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," Poroshenko wrote.
